Our exchange reviews are based on a structured evaluation process that includes:

• Account creation and verification: We register accounts on every platform we review to experience the onboarding process first-hand.
• Feature testing: We test trading interfaces, order types, charting tools, mobile applications, and available markets.
• Fee analysis: We document and verify fee structures by cross-referencing official fee pages with our actual trading experience.
• Security assessment: We evaluate security measures including two-factor authentication, cold storage policies, insurance funds, proof-of-reserves disclosures, and regulatory compliance.
• Customer support testing: We submit support requests through available channels to assess response times and quality.
• Community research: We review user feedback across multiple forums, social media platforms, and review aggregators.

Educational Content and Guides

Our educational articles are researched using:

• Official protocol documentation and whitepapers
• Verified on-chain data from blockchain explorers and analytics platforms
• Regulatory publications from relevant financial authorities

Fact-Checking Process

How We Use AI

We use AI tools as part of our production process, and you deserve to know exactly how. Our policy is simple: AI assists; humans decide and are accountable.

• Research, drafting and translation: We may use AI tools to gather background, structure outlines, draft sections, and translate content into the 14 languages we publish in. This helps us produce clear explanations at scale for readers whose first language is not English.
• Human editorial control: Every article is directed, reviewed and approved by a human editor before publication. Facts, figures, ratings and recommendations are verified by a person against primary sources — AI output is never published unchecked.
• First-hand experience is human: Testing exchanges, making real transactions, using wallets and DeFi protocols, and the resulting screenshots, on-chain data and judgements are done by people, not generated by a model.
• Accuracy and accountability: Apex Digital Media LLC is responsible for everything we publish, regardless of the tools used to produce it. AI assistance never lowers our accuracy standard or our fact-checking requirements.

This disclosure applies across all languages and content types on ChainGain.

Editorial Independence

• No pay-for-play: No company or platform can pay for a favorable review, higher rating, or preferential placement.
• Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial decisions: Our review conclusions are determined solely by the merits of the platform being evaluated.
• Separation of business and editorial: Commercial partnership decisions are made independently of content creation.
• Disclosure: We clearly identify commercial relationships through our Affiliate Disclosure.

Content Updates and Corrections

• We correct errors promptly and clearly note corrections within the article.
• For significant corrections, we add an editorial note explaining what changed and why.
• We welcome corrections from readers. If you find an error, please contact us with details and supporting evidence.

Limitations and Disclaimers

We aim to be accurate and useful, but ChainGain has real limitations you should keep in mind:

• Not financial, investment, or tax advice. Our content is educational. We do not know your personal situation; always do your own research and, where relevant, consult a licensed professional before acting.
• Data changes fast. Fees, exchange rates, yields, and regulations can change daily. Every figure we publish is sourced and dated, but verify the current numbers on the official source before you transact.
• No guaranteed outcomes. Crypto carries risk, including total loss. Past performance, historical fees, and example savings do not guarantee your results, and wrong-network or irreversible transactions can cause permanent loss.
• Coverage is not exhaustive. We cannot test every platform, corridor, or country. Where we have not tested something directly we say so; absence from our guides is not a negative judgment.
• Independence and affiliate links. Some pages contain affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes our ratings, rankings, or conclusions — see our Affiliate Disclosure.
• Geographic and regulatory limits. What is legal or available in one country may not be in yours. Verify your local rules and a platform’s availability before signing up.

Author Identity & Credentials

All content on ChainGain is written or reviewed by people with demonstrated, hands-on expertise in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and digital-asset trading. Each author has a profile page describing their background, areas of expertise and testing methodology so you can judge their qualifications — see, for example, Alex Mercer, our lead analyst.

On pen names. Some of our authors write under a pen name for privacy and personal-security reasons that are common in crypto. We treat this as a transparency obligation, not a licence for anonymity: where an author uses a pen name, that fact is stated openly on their profile, and Apex Digital Media LLC verifies the author’s real identity internally and remains the responsible publisher for the accuracy and integrity of their work. A named, real-world legal entity — not an anonymous “admin team” — stands behind every page.

Review and accountability. Quantitative and safety-critical claims (fees, regulations, security steps) are fact-checked against primary sources before publication and re-checked when the underlying facts change. If you believe something is wrong or out of date, tell us at contact@chaingain.io and we will investigate and correct it under our Corrections Policy.

What We Will Not Do

• We will not guarantee returns or profits from any trading activity.
• We will not suppress negative findings to protect a business relationship.
• We will not publish content that we believe is misleading, regardless of commercial incentives.
• We will not present sponsored content as independent editorial without clear labeling.
